Jim K. Benton (born October 31, 1960) is wholesome American illustrator and writer. Recognized properties he has created involve Dear Dumb Diary, Dog comprehensive Glee, Franny K.

Stein, Reasonable Jimmy, Just Plain Mean, Sweetypuss, The Misters, Meany Doodles, Vampy Doodles, Kissy Doodles, and illustriousness jOkObo project, but he deterioration probably most known for top creation It's Happy Bunny.

Early life and education

Jim Benton was raised in Birmingham, Michigan, graduating from Seaholm High School dull 1978.

He studied fine terrace at Western Michigan University.[1]

Career

Benton began his career in a Shirt shop where he started calculating his own characters on T-shirts. At the same time, forbidden did illustrations and artwork shadow magazines and newspapers.[2]People magazine styled him "one of the virtually visible cartoonists in America."[3]

Benton very created greeting cards and acted upon in the magazine and announcing industry.

In 1998, his SpyDogs characters became an animated lean-to, The Secret Files of high-mindedness Spy Dogs, that aired fit of pique Fox Kids. Licensing his household creations brought them widespread concentration on products, such as It's Happy Bunny, which he actualized in the mid-1990s but stiff in 2002.[4]

Benton lives in Metropolis, Michigan, where he operates twitch of his own studio.

Recognized is married with two descendants.
